Twitter as broadcast media and allow integration

Twitter as broadcasting news

Twitter can contain up to 140 characters.. Basically we can write about what we are doing and express every moment of my life… According to Evan william from his video below Up to 60 000 people would see what we write in 1 second. Most people normally report what was happening and broadcast updated news immediately to people such as a person were twittering and talked about maybe an earthquake might happen tomorrow, everyone in twitter will see that and might consider the news will be true. Therefore this will make twitter as broadcast media, where one message will go to everyone.

Integrate Twitter in other platform

Twitter can be integrated into other platform or interface via api (application program interface). About 2000 software has  integrate Twitter such as in Mac and handphone. Most people used Laptop and Mobile phone to get into Twitter so that it is portable and they can update messages while walking, shopping, in toilet and in general everywhere where internet access is possible..

Take a look at this video by TEDtalksdirector. Evan William explains alot more on using Twitter:

yes, the open API is a huge positive feature of Twitter as it allows it to be integrated into all sorts of things. Have you any good examples?

Yeah true.. Open Api is huge positive feature of twitter. It allows us to embed twitter into different platform such as creating twitter box as widget in our blog sidebar, make twitter as plugins, display our Twitter Status Message in a Speech Bubble and alot more.. for more details about this, you can get it from smashing magazine.. Lots of stuffs we can find it here… You should see this one too: Build Your Own Social Home!. It looks fun to create our own website with Twitter, flicker and other application by editing blog template… I want to try them up…
